From a press release by the MCA and MHSDA: The Maine Children’s Alliance recently released its third annual data report on Maine’s Head Start programs. The report uses program and statewide data to highlight the past year’s successes and challenges and identify trends over the past three years.

CCO-Child Care Options
Child Care Options provides an array of early childhood and school-age trainings face to face, online and by mail.
Child & Adult Care Food Program
Early Care and Education Centers and Family Child Care Homes, sponsored by SKCDC, participate in the USDA / Child and Adult Care Food Program, providing reimbursement for nutritious meals served to enrolled children. Families of children who attend these programs do not pay for meals. SKCDC sponsors Family Child Care Homes in Kennebec and southern Somerset Counties.
Expectant Families
We partner with Kennebec Valley Community Action Program Maine Families a community based home visiting program to offer education and support for expectant parents.
