Early Care & Education Program Application

Southern Kennebec Child Development Corporation is taking applications for its early care and education programs for children and families.
Programs available are:
Centers are located in:

• Augusta, Gardiner, South Gardiner and South China

Public prekindergarten partnerships are located in:

• Chelsea (Serving RSU 12 students from Chelsea and Windsor), Monmouth, Mt. Vernon, Readfield, and Winthrop

Home based services are available in:

• Gardiner, South Gardiner, South China and Augusta areas

Our programs provide quality services for children and families, including children with special needs, at no cost for Head Start and Early Head Start and low cost for child care for families who are eligible for child care voucher or other child care fee subsidies. Private rates for child care services are also available. Families are responsible for transporting children to and from programs. We assist families to access community based transportation services and financial supports.
