What a team! Many thanks to the folks at Good Shepherd Food Bank , Southern Kennebec Child Development, Food for Thought, Chrysalis Place/Gardiner Food Center , WIC, and School Administrative District No 11 High School volunteers for making our Pop-Up food event a success.
Also sending gratitude to Christ Episcopal Church + Gardiner, Maine for hosting us when the weather impacted our plan to hold the event outdoors.
The Gardiner community proved once again that when it comes to supporting kids and families, no hurdle is too high. The food distributed not only filled cupboards but met our SKCDC Agency mission of “improving lives and opportunities for children and families”.
