Our South Gardiner Head Start families spent a special day playing, exploring, and connecting—together! Parents and children climbed, jumped, explored pretend play, and even took a dive into the ball pit! 
This experience was made possible through Head Start Parent Funds, which are designed to support activities that bring families together, encourage parent-child interactions, and enhance learning beyond the classroom. These funds help create opportunities for families to bond, strengthen relationships, and support their child’s development in fun and meaningful ways. 
At Head Start, we believe parents are their child’s first and most important teachers. Moments like these—filled with shared joy and discovery—are what early learning is all about!
